Dean is named James Dean Martin as a celebration to the late actor James Dean and the singer Dean Martin, but on a day-to-day basis he is not Dean. He lives in the northern part of Aarhus, where he loves to play music. He plays guitar, piano, and saxophone, but in his band, he is head bassist. Jakob is a true developer – in the literal meaning of the word. Software development, business development and personal development are just some of the areas, Jakob is focusing on.
The relationship between Jens and Bytelab goes way back. Actually, we have to go back to 2011 where a young 10th grader started as an intern at Bytelab. Both parts must have done something right because he has never left the company since. Today, he is the product owner at one of our development teams.
One of his main strengths is to remain calm even when everything is getting out of control. We have an idea that it's might due to his childhood on a very peaceful farm in Jutland.

Mikkel is our System Consultant (tech-guy) who makes sure, that all our servers, software programs and hardware are working properly. He also helps in our integrations team with customer specific problem solving. That requires some degree of multitasking, but with a history of flying commercial airplanes for more than twelve years, its no problem for Mikkel.
Even though Mikkel is a trained pilot, his love for tech and coding began at an early age with his Commodore 64. That love sparked again in 2015, when he took a break from flying to be a junior developer right here at Bytelab. To our luck some years later he landed the airplane for good and returned to Bytelab.
Mikkel is born in Silkeborg, but in most of his life he has lived in Aarhus, and he still does with his girlfriend, two kids and a chihuahua names Theis.
